    The story behind the story.

Bailey Farms International has been in the agriculture industry for more than 25 years. As owners and operators of several thousand acres of land used in growing and harvesting agriculture products, Bailey Farms takes pride in knowing this industry.

In 1996 Bailey Farms expanded business to include international trade by building a processing plant located in Ephraim, Utah, which is in the Rocky Mountains of the Western United States. The plant originally included a Cooper single cuber head machine which was later expanded to a double head machine. Utah hay growers are known for producing top quality hay which is partially due to the location and climatic conditions of this region.
In 1997 Bailey Farms added a new dimension of product diversification by adding a Cooper 30 kg press. With this expansion Bailey Farms has become a top supplier of agriculture products worldwide. In 1999 a new state-of-the-art Cooper 650 kg press was added but was modified to a 450 kg press in February of 2007. This machine added new products to the expanding world markets and gave Bailey Farms an edge to aggressively pursue them.

In 2003 Bailey Farms expanded business by purchasing a state-of-the-art facility in Delta Utah. This plant currently houses a Cooper cuber identical to the Ephraim plant, a Cooper 30 kg hay press and a Cooper 450 KGS press. This facility is located in the heart of an area which produces over 100,000 ton of alfalfa hay annually. Logistically, the Delta plant is located close to rail service as well as truck service which allow Bailey Farms to capitalize on the most economical transportation options.

In 2006 the latest expansion of Bailey Farms was added to the operation. It includes a new state-of-the-art facility which is located in Bear River City, which is in Northern Utah. This plant was strategically placed in a location which has an almost endless supply of hay making it economically feasible to bring hay from Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. Both the plant and equipment have the latest technology. This plant currently houses both a Cooper 30 kg press and a high-speed Hunterwood 450 kg press. This plant has a 1,800 foot rail spur and is only 60 miles from the rail hub in Salt Lake City.

As world markets expand and as new inquiries are received, Bailey Farms responds. With the three production facilities in the Bailey Farms arsenal, we are able to offer diverse product lines with outstanding scheduling to meet most deadlines and a production capacity of over 500,000 tons annually. Our geographical location allows us to process and ship product at some of the most competitive rates in the industry.
